Redmi Pad Pro: Redmi's new tab with a huge 10,000mah battery, not too expensive

Redmi launched a new tablet called Redmi Pad Pro yesterday. This is the company's third tablet after the Redmi Pad and Redmi Pad SE. 


The new Pad Pro also looks different compared to other Redmi Tabs. It is a mid-range tablet, which is supposed to be ideal for tasks like multimedia and multitasking. The Redmi Pad Pro Tab features a massive 12.1-inch LCD display, quad speaker setup, Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, and a super-powerful 10,000 mAh battery.

Redmi Pad Pro: Specifications and Features

The Redmi Pad Pro has a large 12.1-inch LCD display with 2.5K resolution, offers 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and 600 nits peak brightness, and the screen is TUV Rheinland-certified. The tab supports Dolby Vision. The Redmi Pad Pro is compatible with a stylus pen and is magnetically attached to the left side of the tab. On the back of the tab are two protruding rings, housing the 8-megapixel sensor and LED flash. And there is a single camera of 8 megapixels in front. For enhanced audio, the Redmi Pad Pro gets quad speakers with Dolby Atmos and dual microphones.

For performance, the Redmi Pad Pro comes with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of in-built storage. For power backup, this tablet comes with a powerful 10,000mAh battery, which supports 33W fast charging. In terms of software, the device runs on Android 14-based latest HyperOS software.

Redmi Pad Pro: Price and Availability

The Redmi Pad ProRedmi Pad Pro has been launched in China in three storage variants. The base 6GB RAM + 128GB version has been priced at 1,499 Yuan (roughly Rs. 17,275). And the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage models are priced at 1,599 Yuan (roughly Rs. 18,425) and 1,799 Yuan (roughly Rs. 20,730) respectively. The tab will be available in Dark Gray and Smoke Green color options. It is not yet known when it will be launched in India.
