Suzuki eWX: Maruti launches mini electric car, will give 230 km mileage on full charge

In India, Maruti's partner Suzuki has filed a design trademark for its eWX car. The concept version of which was showcased at the Japan Mobility Show 2023 in Tokyo last year. It is a small EV. Which may seem like WagonR Electric to many.

The other name that Suzuki eWX will appear in the market remains to be seen. But under what name it will be launched in the market, it is not possible to say now. The company claims that this car will have a range of 230 km on a full charge. The length, width and height will be 3,395 mm, 1,475 mm and 1,620 mm respectively.

While unveiling the concept car, Suzuki said, “It's a realistic mini wagon and a futuristic EV. This model with slim body style will make people's daily life easier. It has friendly character, light and user-friendly cabin space, which will remind you of your own home.”

The Suzuki eWXSuzuki eWX will be shorter than the S-Presso in length. When it is launched in India, it will come under pressure from MG Comet EV and Tata Tiago EV. According to experts, this could be Maruti's cheapest electric car. Incidentally, Maruti Suzuki is currently working on its first electric vehicle eVX in India. It will be based on the new Skateboard Electric platform. There will be a 60 kWh battery pack. It will give a range of about 550 kilometers on a full charge.
